Perhaps, although I see that in the future we will be integrated with our technology to further enhance ourselves. While people are quick to say no this would never happen I feel it is important for you to realize it already is.

Many people feel that technology is stagnant and will never reach a level where it could bypass us. I think these people are in denial. Advancements in technology will continue to occur, and at a faster rate with each passing year.

Like the Terminator or the Matrix or IRobot? No. Fun conventions that make for entertaining movies perhaps, but no. Technology, while useful, slick, and may even exhibit primitive "intelligence" is incredibly stupid and often has problems (endless updates, improvements, changes). Computer programs are nothing special, just lists of instructions written by men to do repetitve or tedious things. That creativity will always lie in the those men's brains and not in an Intel chip.

And then there is the power problem. Technology will always require electricity and it will run out - the battery will die, the day will become night (solar), the coal at the electrical plant will run out. This is something that is always glossed over in movies because it is a severe limitation in the real world and the laws of physics rule.

Technology attacks me in the way of frustration but that's almost always due to human incompetence (bugs, errors) or human macliciousness (viruses).

Fear not, my laptop can't even make through a whole plane flight.

About intelligent answers...A great French philosopher of the18th century said, "Everybody complains on their memory. But nobody complains on their intelligence."

Technology is a logical thing. Human being is quite often illogical. Consequently, there will always be a way for a human being to "outsmart" technologically advanced machines.

A proof to it is a great Russian chess player, Mikhail Tal. He was winning, as a rule, when he played with the chess machine time after time by confusing the machine and thus depriving it of the chance to make a logical move.

Well, this is a common idea about robots. This might happen if humans don't put a safegaurd on the things they create, such as an automatic shut-down on robots. But for the second question, robots would most likely be able to think for themselves in the upcoming centruy.

It is possible. Man has the power to make things even more powerful than himself. The idea of nanotechnology (very, very small machines) scares me, because there is talk of being able to create nano-bots, so to speak, which can reproduce. Not sexually, but mechanically. They would be able to make more of themselves. The technology is a bit far off, but it is coming.

Technology is dependent on man. Technology cannot think or reason, therefore it cannot revolt against something it has no knowledge of.

That is why atheist revolt against God, because they know He exist.
