A lot of people -- for reasons I don't know -- use yoga. There is something about the calming effect or the concentration or something that really seems to help. I would imagine that a class would be better than a home video. I think yoga is a lot "mind over matter" sort of stuff, and that's why it's so successful. Don't use food as a substitute for cigarettes! Nicotine gum would seem to be more helpful than pills or patches, but at least your mouth is doing something. After the addiction is gone and that psychological need to put your fingers to your mouth is gone, chew a sugarless gum a lot. It'll keep your mouth busy and xylitol is excellent for your teeth and gums. Smokers need all the help they can get with their teeth and breath, anyway. Though I'd opt for the bubblegum, myself.

My mother-in-law smoked for 60 years and the best smoking cessation device we found for her that worked was the Nicoderm Cigarette device that held cartridges of nicotine in it . She needed something 'to hold in her hand' while she had cravings and if she really was bad off, she could suck on the end to get some of the nicotine to stop them. She used that for only a month before putting it down and then only picked it up only a few more times the next 4-5 months. We couldnt believe it. She never cheated like she did the other treatments we brought home and she enjoyed this one. She's been smoke-free for 5 years now and never looked back. So if it can help her - we recommend it to everyone.

After 18 years of silly habit you are making yourself free itself is the advise for others. If you make it true it will be a great achievement.
Very strong will power will only help you to achieve your goal. In no case you should touch cigar and if Mind Demands tell it every time that you will do it tomorrow, so that today will never come. Cancer of lungs is most common in smokers.

Depends on where in the lung the cancer is, also the size of the tumor. 80% of lung cancers are related to smoking.
Symptoms of are chronic cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing coughing up blood, weight loss, and chest pain.
Good luck with quitting.
Chew gum, avoid those that smoke, quit with a buddy and support each other, don't let anyone else smoke in your home.

Don't quit, cause that will never work.

You must stop! That will work

Hope you and your family have a great Christmas.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
