you must see the doctor as soon as possible he will prescribe either drops or ointment to apply to your crusty eye.it is highly contagious so dont rub you eye and then touch somebody.then all it would take is for them to rub their eye! with medicine it can clear up in 4-5 days.

Go to the doctor, don't wait, it just gets worse. I had moved to portugal and within a week i had it in both eyes and it was to the point i couldn't even open my eyes. I had to get a translator and everythiing just to get a prescription, but it was well worth it. so yes you need to go to the dr.

If you have it you need to go to the dr. because if you're not treating it, it is contagious. As soon as you start treating, it will no longer be contagious to others.
