It's OK to be thin! You are so lucky you have a fast metabolism. Cherish it! I was super skinny too when I was younger, and then I got pregnant and gained weight. Wow, I wish I was skinny again. Try to go on a vegetarian diet, or better yet a vegan diet. Eating fatty foods like meats and dairy products will only clog your arteries and cause other problems as well. You want to eat healthy, and now is the time to learn good eating habits. And the benefits of going vegetarian are you will be helping to save countless animals who live miserable lives in factories, and a very painfull death. You could drink protein shakes. But don't put too much fast food or sugary foods into your diet. Your body was not designed for such abuse. Skinny people can have health problems too if they are not carefull about what they eat.

go to a registered dietician for help , a dietician helps you find healthy ways to gain weight through eating what you like most.
add olive oil to your salad, eat more fruits and vegetables , avocado is a healthy fruit high in calories , you can add sugar and milk if you wish to it.
there are many winter dishes you can cook .
eat more dairy products.
there are many energy bars, fast food chains ( including pizza hut and chilli's) where you can get enough calories from.
you can go to the supermarket and get peanut butter which is high caloried but has protein ( about 4 grams per tablespoon)
if i wanted extra calories i would get chocolates, brownies , ice cream and pizza as well as salads and other healthy meals just to make sure i'm getting all the goodies.
to get best results go to the dietician and join a gym or get started on weight training and cardio on your own and make sure you make up for lost calories.
good luck.

Try getting some Ensure or Boost from Walmart, its cheap. Its a supplement drink used to help people either gain wt or maintain their wt. Drink one with each meal. Also, eat more carbs rather than meat and fat.

Eat a big bowl of ice cream after dinner. Lucky you, I wish I had that problem. The Nicole Ritchie look is SO OVER anyway...I like Dulce De Leche by Haagen Daas.

Please stay away from the fast food. It contains absolutely NO nutritional value and the wrong kinds of fat.

My cousin and I have both used Herbalife smoothies. Me to loose weight, and her to GAIN weight. Instead of having it instead of a meal, she'd have it in ADDITION to her meals. She used regular milk and protein powder. She also joined the gym to build good muscle mass. She managed to put on20 pounds and now looks great.

Just a word of caution: Don't fall into the Atkins Diet trap of eating a ton of bacon, though -- you'll upset the lipid numbers in your blood.
