Your body would begin to consume itself. Of course you would lose weight.

No, your body's metabolism will slow down and store as many calories as possible, which is just the opposite of what you desire. So that whatever little you do consume is stored to keep you from dying. The human body does this automatically as a self defense mechanism. In short, the more you try to circumvent eating and activity processes the worse your problems can become. You could run the risk of aquiring Bolemia or Anorexia by triggering abnormal eating and psychological stimulus. Find a copy of Body For Life written by Bill Phillips or visit his website for menu / activity ideas. If you can't buy the book try the library. The human body is a series of systems, break or tamper with one and it can be disasterous to other system processes. It can be fatal to not take care of your body as it was designed and engineered for survival.
There are not many shortcuts to losing weight and being fit.
Read Phillip's book and either be inspired and do something or grab the remote and chips and head for the couch.
You can never change anything if you change nothing.

pills..drugs...food..everyone misses the most important aspect..exercise...if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.
1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day
2.) drink lots of water
3.)exercise every day
4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep

You would lose weight for 72 hours. After that your body would shut down the mechanism that allows weightloss and start holding on to all it's fat. It's a survival mechanism that humans developed to help them survive through famine. So for 72 hours you'd drop a few pounds...maybe 5. After that anything you eat will be stored immediately as fat because your body now thinks that there is famine and you need to store fat to ensure survival.

your body would use up your stores of nutrients, and create a muscle deficit.
(Picture starving children here)
If you wish to lose weight and/or mass.
Eat HEALTHY and if you are extremely out of shape, start with an easy regimen such as walking.
If you are in reasonable shape get somebody to work out with and do your choice of cardio/strength training.
One of the best work out tools that I have ever found is a wheel
with a handle through the hub. In the 4 point position, roll forward and lift back up with the wheel stretched out.
Use it to tone your lower back and abs. DO THIS IN MODERATION TO START!!! (Like 5 reps as it will hurt if you over do it)
Ask me how I know this.................
This would be a great excercise to do with a friend.

you cannot stop eating totally but you stopped your exercise what will happen , your body will start accumulating the fat it digested into unwanted places and you will look pretty bad in shape. Hence I would suggest you to do yoga everyday which is not really an exercise but a tool to keep you fit whole through your life.

If you stop eating, you would have no energy to excercise anyway. ||Yes you would lose weight, but taking in fewer calories and excersing 3 times per week, you will lose weight quicker because you will burn more calories by excercising, and you need food to keep your metablosim up...once you stop eating your metabolism slows down making it harder to lose weight .

First of all your body would start eating its from its fat source for fuel. then you would feel tired, weak, irritable, and eventually your body would shrink. Whenever you do start to eat again. Your stomach would only be able to hold in little amts. of food. I don't suggest doing this. I got very sick from it. Try eating lower fat meals and always exercise!!! Good luck!

Sooner or later, you'd die. Then you'd experience massive weight loss, but you wouldn't be able to enjoy it!
Got a problem with exercise?

You would probably lose weight, but mostly in the form of muscle. Not the ideal way to go in my opinion.
