The money that's wasted in this country is tragic, who the hell is allocating the money.........it has to change........what happened to priorities.....or are only immigrants entitled to be given those?
I am seriously becoming more racially prejudice by the day......what about us?............what about us?.....the true Brits?.......... have we no rights anymore and no say in our own country?
Anyone out there agree with me?
I'm getting to the stage I want to scream!!!!!
I can't even begin to imagine how his parents must feel ,to think that if he had had his body armour on(which he should have had, and all the others are entitled to as well) he would still be alive.
Were's the justice in this world?

Our troups and troups from America are risking their lives daily in the belief that they are helping these people, how many more have to die before it's realised that this could turn into another Vietnam?

Whether you like it or not,a hell of a lot of money is spent on the Irac and Iranian
immgrants in this country, that's why I chose them, as we are out there fighting for their rights, and dying doing it. I am fully aware that there is a lot of money wasted on other things, but considering these are the people we are risking our boys lives to help, felt it to be appropriate.

The government do this kind of thing now & again, they then sell this stuff off to pamper another member of parliment or member of royalty, new car for them, restock the bar at whithall, a new polo horse ect.

You do know many soldiers consider body armor as a liability. It is hot, weighs upwards of 60 pounds with out even adding a single ounce of combat gear, restricts movement, including fighting stances, some of it does not even protect vitals like the sides, it wears out, sweat and other human responses breaks it down, does not protect the body from the more common terrorist tatics such as IED's, arms and legs etc. I agree, its a shame for soldiers to die if they do not have the equipment, but we also need to look at the flaws in outfitting the entire army in cumbersome equipment.

Don't blame the immigrants, the British Government has always treated it's military with contempt.Blair is spending £20 million on trident, that would buy a hell of a lot of body armour, wouldn't it?MPs are looking for a 63% pay rise,i didn't hear even 1 of them say,'what about spending it on the boys in Iraq?As far as i can see,the government thinks anyone stupid enough to join the military is expendable.

I haven't seen that story, but if its true its ludicrous. If you have not bee equipped properly for a job (which is the employer responsibility) they should not be allowed to do it until they have the necessary equipment (while still being paid).
