Apply cold compresses for several minutes with chilled slices of cucumbers or tea bags, wet cotton balls or a cold washcloth over closed eyes the cold helps constrict blood vessels, decreasing swelling.


Also if this is a constant problem limit your intake of alcohol and salty foods and drink plenty of water.

i also have puffeness under the eyes and it is do to thyroid problems in which i have to take medication. You might want to get it checked out

All these answers are good. You might also try a frozen spoon applied to the eyes. I've done it and it works very nicely. Now I keep one in the freezer just in case!

RESTFUL sleep. A super quick fix is tea bags (cold), just set them on your closed eyes and lie there for 10-15 mins.... unbelievable results.

you night sleep should be at least 8 hours long and also, cucamber on your eyes will help to make your eye muscles more relaxed thus your puffiness will reduce.
