It's the idea that God draws us to Him. It is somewhat based on evolutionary thought in that our understanding of God evolves as we develop as humankind. God does not reveal Himself completely to us, but instead we are slowly understanding more and more about who He is and how He works as we learn to understand our world and ourselves as humans better. Sort of like the way we develop more sophisticated ways of understanding the world as we get older.

It's called "Process Theology"

Process theology (also known as neoclassical theology) is a school of thought influenced by the metaphysical process philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead (1861–1947). Process theology is unrelated to the Process Church.
