DO YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF AT THE MERCY OF ROAD RAGE? SCREAMING AND WAVING YOUR HANDS AROUND LIKE A WILD PERSON?

Years ago? Oh yes! Not so much anymore.
Because of "road rage" and the fact that you never know who'll
come after you, I take the patient road.
If I'm on a back road with a car on my butt, I pull over and let them go. Same thing on the highway. I don't hit the brakes anymore or wave my hands. I let them go by. It's healthier.
Think of yourself as one of those so called "idiots" in a strange town not knowing your way, wondering "is this one lane or two, and why isn't there a street sign"? Everyone is beeping, calling you stupid, etc. now you're all flustered and embarassed which just makes it worse. We all know what that feels like, so why do we do it to others?
What if that annoying driver is in a big hurry for a legitimate reason? Family member hurt, or sick child? And here I was tapping the brakes and cursing.
It doesn't matter if it's a jerky kid showing off or whatever, my motto is " let them have the road, it's not worth fighting over."

Yes!! I admit it! I get so angry at other people sometime, but I usually keep my road rage pretty low key, because I know that I am not perfect and I have done dumb things while driving too. I usually just cuss them outloud in the solitude of my car but refrain from making obscene gestures or doing anything to grab their attention. I typically try to get around an offensive driver and continue on my way.

I'm not that bad, but I certainly get angry on the road sometimes. Mostly it is when I see somebody engaging in selfish behavior with no regard for anybody else on the road, like running a red light or driving slowly in the left lane of the freeway.

i have road rage at drivers who do not pay attention to pedestrians. they go to make a right on red turn and not for a second to they think that maybe there is someone attempting to cross the intersection. of course they are looking for oncoming traffic and do not see the pedestrian till it is too late. that is why i am in a wheel chair with a busted ankle and knee. i just thank the spirits that he was not going tooo fast.

yes i have a few times especially when i'm late for a big test , but i usually try to calm myself down and think rationaly before i "fly off the handle"-I think everyone gets road rage, but not everyone will admite to it. granted most times it's pretty mild like flippin someone off or swearing out the window[ still most people wouldn't admit to that either.

No, Just call them a B under my breath and move on. It's easier on the blood pressure. And noone else is the wiser so you eliminate any nasty traffic confrontations.

Try it yourself. You'll find it wonderfully liberating. Haha.
