Has anybody found that these patches sting and leave a raised red mark when you take them off, also did they give you bad dreams?

the dreams...OH YEAH!!! i kind of liked it though, i remember my strongest patch dream like it really happened. if you read the insert it will tell you that the patch may cause disturbing dreams.

as for the red raised ring.....i found i had this when i used the wal-mart brand (equate) patches, but i didn't have it when i used the real deal nicoderm.
my mom tried to use all of them and everytime she got the red ring. she has very sensitive skin.
so, if they are leaving red rings and you are putting them in different places every day, then i would try the lozenges or another form of quit agent.

did you know to move the patch everyday?? one day put it on your left arm, then your right, then one shoulder blade, then the other, then under your arm, then under the other, then go back to the original arm.

plus, a little rubbing alchol on a cotton ball can help get the sticky residue off your skin.

take care.

The bad dreams is a side effect. I suggest you call the 800 number on the box they came in. You should get a refund. Then, go back to the store & buy the next lowest dose patch.
Good luck in quitting.

Never got on with any of these nicotine patch things, they never light up properly. Worse smoke I ever had.

Yes. I found that taking them off before bed really helped me get a better sleep.
