i have just got some of that myself from homebase however they did not sell the roller which it is applied with to get the rough effect.
the half soaked sales guy said it will be ok with a brush,well its not its crap,you are best using the sponge roller for textured paint,else it doesnt work how it supposed to

Andrew a rough sponge will do the trick thats one with bigger spaces between and/or a rough textured brush like a brush you would paint stucco on the outside wall!!!but if you can get a roller with a rough surface (not smooth) then of course thats best of all Good Luck and no swearing

not a good idea to paint textured paint on woodchip. it will lift the paper and come off in sheets.

try using a masonary paint brush, it works wonders
