help, 28 year old woman
I'm training for a challenging physical test which measures strength and endurance. I have been training for a couple of months but have not seen much improvement as far as strength goes. I used to be very skinny and now have tried to eat more to gain some muscle weight, but I"m afraid that I may be doing something wrong (not eating right, or not training right). the test is about 6 months away. Does anyone have any good ideas or input? Any good websites for excercise routines? I'll take all the help I can get.

You didn't say what you are doing to increase your strength. Two areas to look at is your diet, and if you are over-training. Diet is probably the most important thing when you are training (even more important than exercise). If you are not eating right, you will not maximize your gains. Most of your diet should be proteins and good carbs.

Too much exercise will have a negative impact on your progress. You should take at least 48 hours off after your workout to allow your muscles time to recover. It is during this time that you will gain strength (which comes from gaining muscles). If you are already taking this time between workouts, try increasing it. Your muscles may not be recovering enough between workouts.

The best solution for you is to do yoga everyday and this will give you the strength and endurance that you desire so much without fail.

Forget yoga, don't even bother with it. Endurance is psychological.
