It discourages me that people go around spouting Christian catch phrases and using God to excuse what they do.
"Not perfect, just forgiven" has been overused to allow those claiming Christianity to do whatever they want and expect that it is okay.

I get discouraged when the media makes it a circus when they catch a Christian sinning. We are only human and we are not perfect, but the media loves nothing more then to tear us down. They never print anything good, none of the good works done by Christians. If they do, it's a small square on the back page, burried underneath advertisements. I hate that this is how the world is seeing us because no one will show them any differently, and those who do live pious lives are mocked and ridiculed for it.

I see so little faith in life and most Christians cannot even define the term. They cannot define most of the terms that they bandy about.
Faith is belief in the unseen power that causes all things to be:seen or unseen, known or not known.
Faith is to know that there is a God that is ineffable and Almighty. It is to understand that we are beholden to Him for everything that we are and have.
So few Christians understand the depth of faith that God has.If they understood, they would be quiet more often.God spoke and it was:that is faith in a nutshell.

I feel that those Christians who give bad example do not do Christianity any good, they say one thing and practice another, and think that they can condemn others, this is not the Christ of the Gospels,He was compassionate and humble and would not be pleased with the behavior of a lot of so-called Christians today.
As followers of Christ we must lead by His example.
God Bless You too.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking? Do you mean OTHER Christian's behaviours? Things aren't always what they seem. Take the preacher's wife in Tennessee that shot and killed her husband. What hasn't been told in the media is that he was physically abusive to her...she had come to Church with bruises and black eyes...her own family has said that he was very verbally abusive to her. She has 3 children, so it was too difficult to leave, he had her trapped. She probably got tired of it and snapped one day. Don't judge her for reacting to something that he did to her over several years time. Christian's are the quickest to judge.

behavior is a choice-when we act against Jesus we are not acting in Christian behavior-
Christian behaviors encourage me to be a better person-by their good example-they should write a book about it-oh yes they did the bible-I think what should be done about it-read the bible-I did this morning already-to know Christian behavior and have the power of Jesus once you are saved to do it John chapter 3

Hypocrisy. I turn off the news when it talks about religious figures who have been saying what needed to be said but doing what their flesh told them to do. I remind people of their obligation to love one another and not judge or condemn. I try to police myself as often as possible to keep from doing the same things I hate.

Amen Robert K.
There are many who call themselves Christians who are not true followers of Jesus Christ. They give Christianity a bad name. They need to repent of their sins and truley follow Christ and his commands such as "Do not gossip" "Love one another." and "love the sinner but hate the sin".
