You will probably need your birth certificate, a picture id or ss security number or some other kind of identification. If you have never had a drivers licenses you will probably have to take a test. If you are just transferring from another state, I don't know each state is different on that regard. But the Department of Moter Vehicle or The Department of Safety and Transportation is the place to start.

Uh... ever heard of the DMV (Dept of Motor Vechicles)? How about taking public transportation there and apply for a license?

go to your local DMV. and apply there.
