I liked this girl alot, asked her out, things were alright, but she was under alot of stress and said give it some time and see how things go then. I want to continue this relationship after her "stressful" times, and not just be friends, because I do still like her a lot. How could I give subtle hints that I still like her, but not seem too clingy, where she gets scared away?

Also, we were pretty good friends before the whole deal. We still talk most days as well.

give her enough space but indicate that you will wait until she has sort out her issues, but never let her feel that you're not there anymore.
she probably needs someone who will just listen (or stay quiet)instead of demanding anything from her that will add more pressure.
check on her once in a while and ask hows it going and ask if theres anything you can do for her - or maybe you can do some subtle favors by giving her flowers or food or whatever little things that might make her day brighter and life seem easier.
most of all - try to be on your most positive and cheerful self =)

Do something nice for her.... have a party or go somewhere as a group (with mutual friends). I would give it time, because she won't like you anymore if you keep bothering her. Just do a lot of group outings and eventually she will want you again.

dotn even try to be clingy in this point in her life let her breath a little she asked for it. n hey if she likes u she will return free up urself still call her send her little note lettin her no u r there for her if she needs u b urself n remember dont b clingy all the best

well she already know u like her....u asked her out....and yall hav been together....so she already knows....that not the issue....the issue is that u want to be w/her w/out driving her up the wall....and that u are just going to hav to go by wut she says....and wut kind of mood she is in....thats all u can do...just try and if it doesnt work then u deserve better!!
