If you have ever seen me eat you would conclude yes you can get oily skin from a bad diet. I can get food in places where there are no places. I'm a slob and could have grease on me head to toe in 5 minutes of eating french fries. I'M QUITE IMPRESSIVE.

Yes! Diet does affect the production of oils in the skin. Switch your diet to less fatty foods and more healthy eating. The low carbohydrate diets have helped balance my skin out. You can find these by googling them or searching them on Yahoo. Good luck!

it is proved by science that what you eat has no effect on your skin oily skin comes from your genes and acne comes from dead skin cells blocking your pores if you want to get rid of your oily skin the oil face blotters work great if you have acne use proactive it is awesome and actually know that I think about it my skin has been a whole lot less oily science I have been using it also make sure to watch what ever you put on your face it should be oil free if proactive is to expensive for you they have a brand at walmart that is fairly cheap its called purpose they have lotion and cleanser it is all oil free and water based the stuff is great hope this helps

A diet high in sugary foods and sodas will cause acne in tons of people. I was one. I am now and immediately free due to drastic and immediate change in diet. Overnight almost.

I knew something was wrong whenmy sweat turned to oil.. lol.. j/k..
Eating no junk food and very little oily foods can reduce oily skin and spots.. unless your talkin about acne...

oily skin is mainly hormonal. it has very little to do with your diet.
