I rejected this girl back in highschool. She's really pretty and she's nice I just rejected her and i know i broke her heart. we've remained friends throughout highschool and we're in our first year of college and I started to miss her. I spoke with her a lot on the internet and told her how much i miss her. When I try to apologize and say stuff like "i shouldnt have done that to you" or "im really sorry can we start from scratch" she ignores me. but when i start an actual conversation with her she starts talking with me... anyways i kept asking her out and i asked her to marry me (as a joke i guess) and she was like "im not marrying you. EVER." i kept on being persistent and showed her how much i cared about her and i guess she gave in and she said we'll get lunch when she gets back (even though she says she extremely busy). Anyways, Do you ladies think she's just trying to get back at me for rejecting her or does she still like me?

She definitely does NOT still like you. She is willing to be friends, but that is all. She ignores you whenever you talk about a relationship and you are well aware of that fact. You have PRESSURED her into agreeing to have lunch with you! You are making it so that she will have to be nasty to you in order to get you to leave her alone. If you want to have any self respect, drop the idea of meeting her for lunch. The only result you will achieve if you continue your present behavior is to make an enemy of this poor girl. The way you are acting shows that you care more about yourself than you do about the girl.

Since its lunch, I would tend to think she is just trying to get you off her back by seeing you once.
But I also wonder do you just want her now because she is playing hard to get? If she does decide to start liking you again will you do the "guy" thing and reject her again? If you can look truly in your heart and say yes, then leave her alone, its a cruel game you are playing.

who knows what she is doing that is something you are going to have to find out yourself. She could of just had a change of heart, but things that happens in Highschool sticks with people there whole life.

hi, i went through that before , look i as a girl can assure that she is still in love with you but she is afraid that u might break her again also its very hard for a girl to tell a boy her feelings , ask her out get her roses be romantic with her,
