It refers to when people who like different things tend to be together as a couple or really good friends. Loud people like quiet people, tall boys like short girls, big people like skinny people. Mean people like nice people. Abusive people like saps. People with long hair like people with short hair. People tend to like things in people that they feel they are missing or rather that they appreciate in others.

I think there are people that are fascinated by the difference in each other. However, you do notice it says, "opposites attract", but it mentions nothing of relationship longevity. I think a couple that are polar opposites have a difficult time understanding each other and in the long run will have a lot of complications.

I thonk it means that even though people ar totally opposite on the outside there is always something to bring some people togther on the inside!

This is a saying borrowed from magnetism, I don't know the motive behind your question. But if you are mature, normal you must have felt some liking to opposite sex than those of like sex to you. This varies from one individual to another. But is universally accepted to say so.

Mostly, it means that a person with a totally different personality than your own may have traits that compliment yours perfectly, despite the lack of similarities.
This is attractive to many people. :)

It means good girls like the bad boys, good boys like the bad girls well i guess the challenge the suspense of the other being wild and care free or the other being shy Conservative Sometimes even of different races just because they are different there physical and there culture

Means people in to different things etc and personalities. Like me and my partner most people say were chalk and cheese (same kind of thing) but we get along in our own way and understand eachother.

Because if both of you were good at exactly the same things, you would constantly compete.
My husband is everything I am not. He is patient where I am rash, he is strong where I am weak, he is horrible at finances where I am strong lol. Together we make one whole terrific person!
