Hi Lisa,

I believe you should never have to apologize to anyone because of your being shy, especially if it is your man. If anything, perhaps you should tell him you are indeed sorry for him being such an imbecile.

I also have a firm belief it is not your pride you swallow, it is your honesty being corrupted and compromised, when you apologize for being shy. In other words, it is you apologizing to someone else, for you being you, and in my opinion, that should never ever be done, for anyone or for any reason.

Always remember, to thine own self be true and if others cannot see and understand the real true you, then they fall short of the mark.. It's called hard core reality. You can't make em smart.

Instead, you should ask for an apology from them for their being one can short of a six pack.

Well, that's my two cents worth.

Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year,

Darryl S.

I have swallowed my pride so to speak when I truly did do something that was wrong to say I was sorry, but at the same Tolkien it's not your job to translate your actions to every person in the world! If someone assumed the worst about you then that is their issue to deal with. Misunderstandings happen all the time.

Yes, and it started becoming a habit lately since saying sorry despite the blame is on me or not I feel better.

It wa sthe hardest thing i had evr done. But i was told its only strong people(emotionally) who can do that.I recited the apology the whole day and still forgot the words half way through.
first you have to say I am sorry.......for........it made you feel........and I don't intend to do it again.

a Lot of times... and probably it was worth having been humble at that time... bcoz now most of them like me... and know that they were wrong in hurting me
