Apart from the grinding agonizing loneliness and the feelings of abject worthlessness?
No it's fine.
(I'm just joking in the first part BTW)

Dude, there is NOTHING wrong with being single. You aren't answerable to anyone and can come and go as you please, be totally independent without fear of putting anyone's nose out of joint. Given half the chance, had I not met my current lady, I'd prefer to be single and lead an uncomplicated existance.
However, you do miss out on the beautiful side to a relationship and all the rewards this can bring.
I guess it all depends on your age, lifestyle and preference. No two situations are the same and some people place more importance in being in a relationship more than others.
Do what suits you best, is my advice.

No, there is nothing wrong with being single. In fact, I believe if you can't be happy as a single person, you're not ready for a serious relationship. Enjoy the advantages of being single and have fun.

I'm single (sorta) But there's nothing wrong w/ it. There are soooo many people out there in the world that are single. Maybe not around you, but there are plenty. Look for the girl that makes you smile and GO FOR IT<33

No, not at all as long as this is your choice and you like loneliness, now and later when you grow old. Being in a marriage there are times you want to be alone, this is where your spouse need to give you the space you need.

better to be single than with somebody who makes you unhappy. To find the 'other half of the apple' is surely desirable, but life is unpredictable. Please remember there are millions of singles out there. But i often wonder where all the decent women have gone.

yes/no
but there comes a time in everyone life that the someone(not anyone) to fill that void.. so that's where a companion comes in.. we may seem that we don't need nobody. yes that's true.. so we have a problem about hiding our self in our job.or other projects.. but the true saying is: Misery Loves Company...instead of going out living our lives to the fullest

In theory, no. Though there is a difference between 'being alone' and 'being lonely'.
As long as you still have a healthy social life, then there's nothing to worry about...
