Copies of police and medical records detailing evidence of physical abuse
Evaluations by clinical social workers and psychologists showing evidence of mental cruelty
Copy of your divorce decree if your marriage was terminated because of physical abuse or mental cruelty.
hope it helps... u could talk to social workers etc to establish a record etc... and record it w/ the police or a doctor

And / Or

Evidence of extreme mental cruelty : Evaluation from a professional recognized by the INS as an expert in this field . The professional recognized by the INS are

a. Psychologists

b. Psychiatrists

c. Licensed Clinical social workers

d. A clinical social worker who is not licensed only because the state does not provide any licensing. He /she should be included in the Register of Clinical social workers published by the National association of social workers or is certified by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social work.

If you are being physically abused by your spouse who isn't a citizen or even if he IS a citizen,then a police report will do. But also make sure that the police report this to INS as well,especially if you have a court order to keep him away from you and your kids as well.

Doctors official statement has to state how the abuse was sustained. for instance.. When formulating your complaint be truth full end exact. Exaggeration needs to be avoided at AL times, it is counterproductive, harmful to the truth, and will probably backfire..... I hope this helps.
