What makes you think this Murdock isn`t being honest with you?
Are you simply being paranoid perhaps?
Just take the time to know the man; he might surprise you!
Are you already involved with him on a personal level?
For your sake, I hope not!
You need to get to know him a lot better before doing so!
Trust me!
If not, you`ll only end up being hurt & deceived...
