I have really curly hair, natural as well. When I get out of the shower I put a leave in conditioner and a hair milk into my hair and then I will put some hair gel in it, any ol' regular hair gel. And it works wonders, my hair is soft and the curls are perfect. You have to let it dry naturally too or it will frizz.. Good luck. I personally use Herbal Essence gel.

I have naturally curly hair too and I tend to find that after I use a certain product for a while, then my hair sort of rejects it and decides to go for the frizzy look without informing me. So after trial and error on heep's of products I have kind of stuck to Pantene Curl mouse with pink highlighted writing/ Treseme mouse with orange writing. And for the Finale use Wella Silvikrin curls and waves hairspray. Don't worry if your hair goes slightly hard just run your fingers through in a scrunch motion to take some of the product out and voila you are left with much fuller (va va voom) curls that don't go flat all night and still look kinda cute the morning after. x Ps. scrunch hair with your head upside down for a fuller effect x

It takes me two hours to straighten my hair as i am of african decent, yet my curls are not tight, but still thick and unruly. i use PPS Hairwear products, their styling mousses work great! check out their site and you will find descriptions on how each product/mousse leaves your hair after it is used. P.S. DO NOT use pantene, herbal essences or any of those supermarket brand products. they may be cheap but they damage your hair in the long run and can burn your scalp or leave a semi-perminant oily coating on your hair which makes hair unmanagable. hope this helps.

my answer is the best by far. mousse has alcohol which dries the hair and mousse makes it stiff as well. Buy yourself some Bouncy Creme by Iso and it's the only thing you'll want to use for your hair ever again. guaranteed. It doesn't have alcohol. doesn't dry stiff, just defines natural curls while adding softness and shine without any frizz. Just put it in damp hair, finger comb it through and let air dry.
