Fleas are very dangerous to kittens , fleas live on blood , and can make a kitten very anaemic, call your vet for advise, and de flea the mother, as she is feeding she will need all her strength, and fleas will weaken her, oh bye the way, fleas can and do transfer to humans, so you will have to treat all fabric areas including carpets and curtains, and where there is one flea there are a lot more, there is never just one.

ask the vet. fleas can kill young kittens. You should have treated the mother before she gave birth. You should also have wormed her as she will also pass worms to her kittens. Since your kittens are now flea infested and worm ridden, they don't stanbd much chance of surviving your neglect. Perhaps you could rehome the lot of them to the CPL or a rescue centre who may be able to save them, treat them properly, then spay the female.

NEVER USE FLEA COLLARS. They contain powerful organophosphates which cause cancer, allergies, skin burns and hair loss.

Cats also have hair, like dogs, so they can get fleas. What you should do is give the cat a flea coller for a while. Make sure you groom the pet often too, it might take off the flea or its eggs if it laid any.

Only use something recommended by the vet for nursing mothers as the kittens will be extremely vulnerable right now. Dont use supermarket/pet shop products (waste of money & not suitable) & dont use anything not specifically safe for nursing cats

there are no products to use on kittens to kill the flees, since most products are for cats who have to be at least 3 months old. what u can do is kill them with your hands, when u find a flee just squeeze it with the nails of your 2 fingers. thats what i did for all my cats, the flees drive them crazy they are very irritating mostly on kittens.
important to clean your hands after u do it :)

theres noting you can do for the kitten but you should probobly treat the mother so they don't all catch them. but you can kill the fleas with your hands simple enough just to squash the wee blighters
