Humans can never worship another human.. that is what I learn by being Muslim.. The only one who deserves to be worship is God, as he created us. We do practice his hadeeth(his words and actions), but we never worship him. i agree with you that Muslims nowaday dont understand Quran even though they recite it.. but that is not the religion to blame, but the people

Prophet Muhammad(on whom be peace) is the last messenger of the the religion of Abraham. He is a messenger chosen by GOD, to remind mankind to submit to GOD and no other.
It is said;
He reached the highest place by perfection
He removed darkness by his beauty
Beautiful are all his attainments
Send blessings to him and his family.
Muslims do not worship Prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace), they follow his ways, his character, his personality, his habits and his words. Prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace) is model of God's grace and salvation.
The Quran is in the Arabic language and reciting it like a parrot is not wrong. The words are the words of GOD and cannot be wrong or bad so let the recitation continue I say. It would be better to learn the beautiful language of the Quran though.
Practicing the word of the Quran is a must. The Quran is translated into many different languages now and practicing it is not going to be problem. Now there is a matter of interpretation. That topic is way too far for me for now.

This has been a misconception about Islam for a very long time. People have inaccurately referred to Islam as Muhammadism because they thought Muslims worshipped Muhammad. The only person Muslims truly worship is Allah (GOD). They respect Muhammad as Allah's last prophet and follow his teachings.

Islam takes idolatry far more seriously than Christianity does. It forbids depictions of Muhammed in any form, as well as artwork or images in the mosques. And there's also the strong belief that there is only God and no incarnations like Jesus, Krishna, etc.
As far as the hadiths are concerned, your comments about hearsay and being written well after the fact are true about most holy scriptures including the bible (and overlooks how oral traditions come into play). With the hadiths themselves, it is hardly unusual for people to follow the examples set down by respected teachers in their religious communities, even if not divinely inspired. I don't see any difference between Christians following the ideas of Paul (instead of those of Jesus in the gospels) and Muslims following the hadith.

No, we do not worship any prophet. We only worship Allah. We place ' Master' with reverence before the name of any Prophet who is known to us through Quran, but it does not mean we should worship him. It would be contrary to the Religion of Islam to worship any Prophet including Prophet Muhammad himself. None of these Prophets can be called God for they all created by God who alone Self-existing and has no partner. The Prophets including Jesus and Muhammad themself worshipped God. We only following Muhammad's teachings which revealed by Allah. And we follow the Sunnah which means following the Good & Perfect example sets by Prophet Muhammad.

Sadly there are some muslims that idolised Muhammad(a.s), they just don't realise it.However i don't think that it goes as far as worshipping him. Any muslim that makes him/herself guilty of this is not a muslim.Coz muslim only submit and worship GOD.
When muslim recite in Arabic thats coz they undastand it.If arabic is not their language then they learn Quran in their language then learn the arabic equivalent. If you do not understand arabic then you can read it in your own language.Quran was sent to all of humanity.
what about catholics that recite certain stuff in latin?
EDIT: Christians always say how they wana 'walk like Jesus(a.s) walked'!

Hadeeth is a collection of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wasallam)'s sayings and deeds. Muslims worship Allah only, and worshipping any one else is a major sin. Practising Hadeeth does not mean one worships Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wasallam).

first:
i believe in god then Mohamed and all prophets before him,all books of the god , angles , hereafter, the destiny even bad or good .
second : Allah(god ) ask us to follow both qur'an and sunna because Mohamed is prophet and Allah inspire to him the hadith .
BUT the most important thing that the main purpose of his message is to let people worship the only GOD the only creator which he doesn't have any sons or wife and no partner .
Mohamed (pbuh) is a human and god choose him to be the last prophet .
only god deserve the worshiping .
iam an Arabic and Muslim girl so i can understand the qur'an :)

not worship him. i don't do the habits and stuff like that, i try to be inspired by his actions/sayings (some of them, the ones which make sense to me) and his value as a man.
I don't like to recite without understanding what i m reading.
why? because i believe this is what god wants us to do...do good and all that, but most importantly; use your brains (together with the morales in religion) to live happily everafter.
