Just looking for opinions. I'm 26, and I've only been withone guy a few times and that was emotional diaster because it ended up that he was just playing mind games with me and I got my heart broken.
So, what's the CONSERATIVE norm? 3 months, waiting until he says he loves you, waitng for a commitment like being exclusive?

Plus how many sexual partners do you think a woman should have in a lifetime in this day and age?

Oh, this is important, I have no interest in ever getting married, maybe one day living with a guy, but not marriage. IMHO I think marrige is for people who want kids, which I don't.

BTW, I'm not dating anyone, I just wanted to know some opinions.

You really have to play it by ear
When it feels like it's time and you feel there is committment enough for trust....
or...
You just want to get laid
Could be 2hrs or 2yrs .... depends on circumstances

GOOD 4 U!! I like a person who has their ideas set. I am married and I married the 1st man I slept with but Im sorry u were hurt! U will know when the time is right. As u have said marriage and kids isnt 4 every1 which I totally respect! I would say give it 3-4 months before deciding wether to sleep with him or not. If he's only out 4 1 thing he will leave long b4 then. I do believe however that if u are horny and cant stand it...then maybe a 1 night stand isn't a bad thing aslong as its not taken seriously!

Truthfully, you should wait at least a month or two after yall start dating exclusively. Thats a good amount of time to get to know someone and it will help to weed out the one-nite stands you are gonna come across. Just make sure you do not mention to the guy how long he has to wait before he has an opportunity to get some...cause some will make it last just long enough to get the prize then dip out.

I answered this already and you deleted it, and my lovely answer is gone....CROSS!!!If you can send it back to me that would be kind of you.

Wait until you are in a serious relationship, if you are a conservative person then one nght stands and meaningless sex is not for you. Also you seem to have had a nasty experience in the past which still bothers you.Sex is more intellectual for women, don't do anything you aren't sure about, and always feel in control of yourself.

The answer here is simple.

Go by your intuition and when you feel it is time to step up to the next level, do so.

There should be no 'normal' about when to make the choice to have sexual relations with a person. Each person is different in their choices, values and morals.

As for how many sexual partners... that is also a personal choice

well this is my own opinion premarital sex which is sex outside marriage is never right in anyway so i guess a woman in this age should be bold enough to keep her purity even if she's not a virgin anymore i guess it is not morally right to have sex with many men if you could just settle with somebody and grow old with him, and i disagree with the fact that people get married for the sake of having children of course not people marry each other for they love each other and probably would like somebody to grow old with them, women in these age doesnt value purity and sacredness of sex so you might find my answer odd but well its allwritten in the bible in case you need some proof,,,,,,,

If you're 26, any date, including the first is fine. It sounds like you need more experiences. One is way too few.

You know, I waited until I was married and have never regretted it. I don't think marriage is just for people who want kids, either.
