What Are Spider Veins?

Spider veins are a very small thread like veins. They are generally blue or red in color. These veins are found more on legs and face. These veins are a big cosmetic problem as they disfigure the look of the skin. Let us find out how they form and how to get rid of them.

Spider Veins- How Do They Form?

Spider veins are thought to form due to genetic reasons. Women get them more than men and they develop after an age. Young people don't suffer from this problem much. They form a web like bundle that spreads from a center and that is why it is called spider veins. Spider Veins are different than varicose veins. In varicose veins, the veins get pressurized by blood and protrude from the skin surface. Ulceration of varicose veins causes a medical problem. Find out more about varicose veins and how they are different than spider veins.

Spider Veins- How They Are treated?

The only method of treatment of spider veins is destruction. They can be destroyed in many ways. Your doctor may use a fine needle and cut through the veins with electricity. The veins get destroyed as they are burnt. Lasers are now frequently used to remove spider veins. Your doctor will tell about the method that is suitable for you.

When I turned 28 I already had been in pain, embarrassed, and scared of becoming pregnant. I didn't want my big blue varicose veins to get worse. The All Natural Varicose & Spider Vein Solution program was an easy read and easy to do. Within 21 days there was a big difference in how my legs looked and I can wear shorts without feeling embarrassed. I feel so much better with more energy and for giving me back a healthier body, and the legs that a 28 year old should have.

You can get lazer treatments and that will take away the veins...(probably expensive and most insurance companies wont cover it). Its a vanity thing, so its not a medical necessity.

I wish you well..

I read something before about this, and they said that you cannot get rid of it completely. They suggested that you can moisture the skin and exfoliate....But I don't know if that will help much....GOod luck!

What do you want the doctor to do... remove your veins? You're supposed to be able to see them. It's a shame that society has gotten ahold of you.
