This place is messed up, but like an old car, we need to get a new one. When you have a busted, rusted car, or a dead battery you don't try to fix it (after a point), you replace it. God created all these planets, some we know can support life. With this in mind, then realize that humans are a virus, and thats what God expects from us (by my understanding). Did the lord not say "Increase your numbers and fill the land". What does he mean by land? Area, country, continent, planet, more planets? Do we not move from one place to another and use all natural resources and then when the land can not support us anymore, move to another? This is our nature, it is not wrong. This planet is getting worse and worse. If you do not know what is likely going to happen (in the distant future) watch the movie "The day after tomorrow" and it will give you a good idea. I'm not an environmentalist, in fact I hate them. I'm not saying to clean up earth, I'm saying we need to start planning to relocate now

Once we except our viral nature, we should thrive through out out the universe. And after spreading, one planetary disaster will not wipe us out.

The lord says to fill the land. I take this to mean that once it's full, you stop increasing your numbers. Land means planet. God's Garden of Eden is supposed to sustain us for eternity. We aren't supposed to move on. We are meant to stay in the garden and live here on Earth for eternity. Listen carefully to the word of God and not the venomous whispers of the snakes that also live in the garden. Should you not heed the word of God, you will only know eternal suffering.

Humans are not viruses. Viruses are not even living beings and cannot be compared with.

I would like to share a short paragraph from the book called "Reason for Hope" of Jane Goodall which I agreed with her.

"With the language we can ask, as can no other living being those questions about who we are and why we are here. And this highly developed intellect means, surely, that we have a responsibility toward the other life-forms of our planet whose continued existence is threatened by the thoughtless behavior of our own human species---quite regardless of whether or not we believe in God. Indeed, those who acknowledge no God, but are convinced that we are in this world as an evolutionary accident, may well be more active in environmental responsibility--for iif there is no God, then, obviously, it is entirely up to us to put things right. On the other hands, I have encountered a number of people with a strong faith in God who shrug off their own human responsibilities, believing that everything is safely "in God's hands." I was brought up to believe that "God helps those who help themselves." We should all take responsibiblity, all play our part in helping to clean up and heal the planet that, in so many ways, we have desecrated."

And just what exactly is your contribution to this great colonisation of different planets or are you just sitting on you idle backside waiting to hitch a ride?
Maybe you are right about colonisation but in the meantime I would have thought it prudent to not a abuse what we have here on earth. I wonder if you would have the same attitude when 'natural' disasters, instigated by our abuse of the planet cause untold horrors for your own individual family. Would you be happy to see your own kids suffer?
Supposing we do find somewhere new to settle to eg mars. Have you seen the photos of mars? Beautiful isn't it? No, of course it is not and I for one wouldn't like to live there. Our planet is extraordinarily beautiful and it will be at our own peril for not looking after it.
Incidentally, i'm a lazy **** who does little to help the environment but at least I don't bury my head in the sand and come out with ridiculous statements like yours.

I think eventually we will move to other planets but in the mean time just try and take care of what we have.

Because there is no other planet like ours.
It is us to blame for our fate not God.
Then living things will no longer exist.
