She's ten years old and im her big sis. when i was little i never had this problem but i fink it mite be because hse's so attached to me shes not comfortable in strange envronments, even if it is with her firends. any tips or advice?

Yeah, tell her it's good to feel uncomfortable sleeping in strange places. It's a dangerous world out there. Keep her home.

I would say do not push her some kids are just that way my son is 8 and he will not even stay at his grandmothers so i do not make him if i go some where and he is with a babysitter then i pick him up or if he said i want to spend the night at so and so then i take him but he always calls and i end up picking him up some kids are just that way and i think that it is the baby of the family that has this problem

Never force her to spend the night anywhere.. She may have some sort of fear, she may ever have bad dreams and when she wakes up in her home she feels comforted.

Whatever the reason, you should be blessed that she wants to stay home. I agree with the first guy, its a bad world out there!

when you stay at other peoples houses, your in their space. it's completely an unfamiliar environment for her. keep telling her that there is no reason to be afraid and hopefully she'll grow out of it in a couple years or get over her fear herself.
