Not everyone gets it. Most people don't, in fact!

I don't think you can prevent it. It's just one of those things that happens. It can strike at any age. I wouldn't recommend having a healthy appendix removed just in case. That is still major surgery, and quite unnecessary, as it's relatively rare. I don't know anyone who has had appendicitis, and I know a lot of people.

Now cancer, on the other hand...

Of course not everyone get appendicitis. but the most common age is around the adolescent age. It's difficult to prevent it. The number one cause is feces obstructing your appendix. Other causes are fruit seeds or worms obstructing the appendix which may lead to inflammation or appendicitis. You should not have it removed if you don't have appendicitis. Before function of this organ was not yet known but now they say it contributes to the immune system of the person.

Appendicitis can strike anyone at anytime. It is most common between ages 10 and 30. It is caused by a blockage of the appendix but the cause is not known. There is nothing you can do to preventy it, but some think that a meat-based diet can exacerbate it, but I am not sure! It is possible to have it taken out before it get infected, and is actually a good idea because an infected appendix can rapture within 24 hours, resulting in septicemia and widespread infection, often death. In about 15 % of operations it was found that the appendix was not infected at all but they took it out anyway. The appendix isn't an essential organ so it can be removed if you are desperate.

Your appendix is an appendage of your super gut. Your appendix is approximately 4-5 inches long with a diameter of approximately that of a ballpoint pen. little ones are the probably applicants to get appendicitis whilst super seeds, pits, marbles, etc., are swallowed. the hollow into your appendix is the right length to capture maximum of those gadgets which would be unable to be moved down your digestive tract for waste. All swallowed gadgets do no longer precisely finally end up on your apprendix.

Appendicitis generally occurs between 16 ad 30. There is no specific preventive measure. No prophylactic appendicectomy is done except when abdomen is cut open for another surgery.

No not everyone gets it in fact i'd say most people dont, i got it at about 14 and had them removed but i know unless there is a problem they prefer not to remove them however if you were private you may be able to get it done. it was very sore when i had it done but that was a long time ago apparantley they do it through keyhole surgery now so you've no scar or anything.
there is no age you can get it at any age i know a 10 year old who got it i was 14 and a friend of mine was in her 20's it just happens when it happens.
oh and no you cannot prevent it.

anyone at anytime in their life can get it . no one person is more predisposed to getting it than the next ./it is just bad luck. some people get grumbling appendix for years without ever having it removed. you can only have it removed if it becomes infected and therefor life threatening, leading to peritonitis and septicaemia. you cannot prevent it. it is just one of those things.
