2 Chronicles 7:14
If MY People who are called by MY name humble themselves turn from their wickedness and pray I will hear from Heaven and heal their land.
Yesterday at Church we prayed for Rain and relief from the bush fires (it rained very patchy like for an 1 hour this morning)...
I just have this feeling that I should tell this to more Christians because it is directed at Christians, and some people who prayed at church got that and others didn't.
I know this, I am trying to do this but obviously it isn't just my responsibility.

This scripture refers to 'my people' in the Old Covenant I believe addresses more to the children of Israel. Under the New Covenant when we are saved by grace we have the gift of God's righteousness to approach with confidence God's throne of grace. We are made sons of God and to address God as our Father. We are seated with Jesus at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. Jesus has defeated all our enemies on the cross. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray in the spirit according to God's will. We are translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. It is now easy because we are fighting from victory and not for victory!

God answers ALL prayers, but sometimes the answer is NO. Would you give your child something that was bad for him or cause him harm? No!! At times we all need to step out in Faith which is unseen by OTHERS, but always by GOD. HE knows our hearts and needs before we ask it, but HE wants to hear from HIS children as you would want to hear from yours, right?? Please reread the verse you have mentioned and do some cross refferences to the OLD and NEW Testaments. I am not being condesending to you but want you to learn for yourself. Hope you understand.

Friend it is not too harsh, Nor too much responsibilty. You are looking at The Land of Israel, Yes it is true we are called by his name, But Israel is the apple of God's Eye. Because God said's he will heal their land, & not the effort or person. Keep up the good work. And don't let anyone side-track you.

Some prayers are answered immediately, some take a while! It's all about a test of faith!

Praise and thanksgiving to our LORD Jesus Christ for his love towards us is bountiful and his mercy is everlasting.
God is very rich and he provides all things for us; and he doesn't want anything from us but to follow him. And he has a great plan to us in our life, to prosper us our life. Their is nothing too difficult in His words to follow and His promises are true. And it is only us, ourself if we want to follow him for to Him life is easy.
