is it freeview, it may be because your signal strength isnt strong enough, I had this problem myself, got a signal booster and now works fine! Good Luck hope this helps.

Are you certain that Freeview is available in your area?

Freeview broadcasts do not yet cover the whole of the U.K. - you may be living in a region that can't get reception.

Get a signal booster (Argos do a few) I had similar problem, and that fixed it.
If that doesn't fix it, you may need a new aerial, which unless you can fit it yourself, can get expensive. Signal booster should do it though.

in case your antenna replaced into bumped off, plugging in to the antenna outlet on the wall received't artwork, because the cabling is shielded. putting up an antenna might want to sparkling up the project, yet you would probably get good reception from an basic set of "rabbit ears". They artwork for me.
