My wife knew her father was in the military. She also knew he was in the special forces but all that she knew was that he built and destroyed things from 1965 to 1984. It was not until she was 29 yoa that she found out he actually killed people. Worst yet she did not realize until 2001 that he had one of the highest kill records in Nam.
Although he will not talk about his history in Vietnam and S. America she had learned a few more items about a couple of trips away from home by some of his fellow vets.
