google the phrase "free undelete" you can restore pretty much any file you have deleted within that week.

that should do it, (u'l need to put the file on a memory pen as it might damage your computer if you restore it straight back on)
THIS IS NOT A SYSTEM RESTORE
PC's never delete a file straight off, even when youv'e cleared them from your recycle bin.
If your working with a mac you have no chance on restoring a file as it removes it completely when you delete it, unlike moving it to a hidden folder like a PC

You can recover deleted or formatted images from SD memory card with a picture recovery tool. You see, when you delete photos video files on camera memory card, the file does not actually get erased, instead it is hidden from view and will be written over when new data arrives. So, the first thing to do is to stop using the card right away. After that, I recommend using 001 picture recovery.

Well my uncle is a Detective Inspector in the CID in the UK. Basically a cop, the ones who deal with serious crime. Anyhows, he says it is possible. Apperantly it stays on our hard drive untill some other information pushes it out..... You have a 50% chance of getting it back if you want to find an expert.
Check all the ordinary things first, the bin etc.

Firstly you check your recycle bin, if the picture is there, then you right click on the picture and click restore. But if the picture is not inside the recycle bin then there is nothing to do cos system restore is not reliable to get back your lost data.

Files such as photo videos you deleted from computer(even deleted from recycle bin or Shift and delete) were not erased permanently.They are just inaccessible or invisible.The space your deleted files located on is marked as free space that can be occupied or taken by new data.Therefore,you can recover your deleted files with data recovery software. Asoftech data recovery is such kind of software.It can recover data after deeply scanning your hard drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted.
By the way,you can download it and scan your hard drive for free to preview whether your deleted files can be recovered.It will show you the file name,type,date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your drive. Download this file recovery software works with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista and Windows 7, and it's very easy to use.

System restore only affects system files, not documents.
Try a file recovery program;

The only way I know of is if they are still in your deleted folders bin. If you did a system restore that is highly unlikely.
