the only different you never mention a christian man did it. but you will be so excited to say "a muslim man did it". that's how unfair it is. Islam, this beautiful religion protects our rights and our women. leave Islam alone, we already know its the true word from our lord.

Women getting severely beaten, abused, raped etc has nothing to do with Islam. In fact, those has nothing to do with any religion that I know of. But human love to stereotype. I am a Muslim husband and I've been told on how to treat my wife. I was taught by my religious teachers that under Islam, "beating the wife" must be done in strict way not to cause pain but to remind our wife of any wrongdoing. That "beating" must not be harmful, painful or leave any marks and other conditions that I won't mind if my wife want to do same to me 100 times a day. Causing pain to your wife simply means you are committing sin.

i have looked through the posts you have given ... how horrible that so many people have been abused ... and from every walk of life
i understand your frustration when people direct this sort of abuse to Muslim men only , when it is so apparent and obvious this goes on everywhere and with many different people
dont worry about the haters ..
the sensible people know what is going on ... and can also see the peace and love in Islam

It's because people don't understand that which they do not know. They are taught a certain thing and they will continue to believe it, even though it's not necessarily true. It's a shame.

You are right, some Christian men do abuse their wives. And so do men of other religions and of no religion. People should not generalize and stereotype, it's not right.

People always see evil where they see difference, ignoring to see evil among themselves. It's sad but it's true unfortunately.
