I have two three year old, female, chihuahuas and just got a male puppy and one of the older dogs ignores the puppy and the other one just tolerates it. Give your dogs some time to get to know each other. Obviously you can't have had the puppy too long if it's only 8 wks old. don;t show favoritism to one , try and pet them both a the same time because your older one one will try to establish that he is the Alpha male (boss). They will squabble just like kids but unless they draw blood don't worry about them. They'll be good company for one and other. Good luck.

Hi there!

Obviously your older dog is not welcoming of the new puppy. He feels his spot in the "pack" is being threatened. He thinks he is the leader, Alpha dog, in the pack, but really you are leader. Best way to "make friends" out of these two is to walk them together, one on each side of you. Your older dog may try to stick his nose a bit ahead of you and the puppy, showing he is the boss, but don't let him, pull him back in line. Once he knows the puppy is just another dog like him, things should lighten up between the 2 of them.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck! :)
