Is there a new Ripper loose in Britain? I blame the documentaries about Jack the Ripper stirring up the idea that you can do this to women and get away with it. Anybody think the police will catch this one?

I don't believe that documentaries or TV/Film make people killers. But I do believe that certain glorification of said killer, Jack the Ripper might give ideas to already mentally depraved individuals. A documentary of the Ripper was on TV within the last month, funny coincidence the killings coming after that.

They might, eventually. Modern technology has advanced since the Jack the Ripper of Whitechapel and Peter Sutcliffe. DNA and other advances such as criminal profiling, etc., should help. I hope there isn't a serial killer on the loose. Even 'working girls' should be allowed to carry on their trade without fear of death just as other regular people want to carry on with their lives without fearing every thing (terrorists, mentally ill, etc.) I thought things were supposed to improve in the 21st century? Wander when that will be?

I didn't think of it that way before but now you mention it, yes it does sound like someone copying Jack The Ripper. I hope they catch the evil person before anyone else gets hurt. If I was an Ipswitch Prostitute, I would be worried.

i think of the money may well be greater effective invested in deveoping a working laptop or computing device game the place you play the area of the killer. actual, you have a game interior a game the place you apart from could get to play he area of the prostitutes attempting to run away. I think of it could desire to have a 12+ score and easily a PG. i would not choose my babies taking part in it recommendations! they are plenty greater effective off shoplifting down the Galleria of a night.

You can't blame the media for the message Dumbo! And yes if it's a serial killer, I'm confident the police will catch him/her eventually, they all make mistakes, see the Yorkshire Ripper etc.. The only real question is how many more victims before that?

When there was a murder in essex a few years ago the police made a statement saying 'every effort is being made to track down the murderer', a couple of days later they were harrasing motorists trying to give them tickets. Will they catch this one, who knows?

It'll probably turn out to be something like the sutcliffe case where eventually the net tightens no matter what.
