it means that computers are going down in price, last longer and crash often... that if a car was on the same pattern, they'd be going down in price, last longer and crash often...

It's saying that everything needs it's own development times. Computers needed theres to get to this point and Cars needed theres to get to theres. But if Cars had followed the Computers cycle then they would be better on some levels and worse on others. Essentially they wouldn't be themselves, they would be dangerous and different. Applying it to real life it would be "Don't aspire to someone else by following exactly what they did because this isn't what you need it's what they needed, take your own path to achieve your own success".

looking at pc prices, that would explain how inexpensive they are, they keep getting faster and have memory storage that increases daily, they can crash with or without a virus and if this virus is not contained., it can cause crashes on everyone on the net.
