I'm in the R.N, and have heard of this thing that is happening to the branches next March/April. But no one seems to know much about it.
Also, does anyone know what happened to the Buzz buster website?

As of the 31st March 2007 the Weapon Engineering Branch and Mechanical Engineering Branch of the RN will be formerly known as Engineering Technicians. This mean that MEMs, MEAs, WSMs and WEA will be ETs. the Branch structure is much the same as before with the lowest rate being ET the Leading ET(LET), Petty Officer ET(POET) and Cheif Petty officer ET(CPOET) with a suffix of SM for submariners.
It has stemmed from the former Warfare branch where non technical sailors were being trained in operations and technical aspects of their jobs. This did not work. Hope that helps.

AS FROM TH 31ST MARCH THE ANDREW WILL ONCE AGAIN BE IN TURMOIL THE SAME AS IT WAS WHEN THE OM BRANCH WAS FIRST BROUGHT IN, IT WILL ALL GO T*TS UP AND NOBODY WILL KNOW WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE TURNED TO LET ALONE WHERE THEIR SUPPOSED TO BE TURNED TO AT.
