It's difficult to determine, because there are far more non-vegetarians (in most countries,) than there are vegetarians. Because of the larger number of meat eaters, there are more people in that group that have health problems just because it is a larger group encompassing both people who take good care of themselves and those who don't. Many vegetarians are very health conscious over all and you don't see many obese vegetarians either. However, if you were to do a study of 100 health conscious vegetarians vs. 100 health conscious non- vegetarians, they would probably enjoy similar good health.

Vegetarians as a group tend to have healthier eating habits, whereas the meat eating group has many that have poor eating habits... I think both can be equally as healthy given they get enough vitamins, etc.

have met quite healthy vegetarians and non-vegetarians. However on the whole i think that anyone that restricts their diet too much despite having strong cravings for certain foods(eg.some meat)will run into problems in the long run.

Non-vegetarians... provided they actually eat a well-balanced diet, don't eat out often, avoid fast foods and fried, greasy, overly fatty foods as well as excersize. Otherwise, gotta go with the vegetarian.

Look, if there are healthful ideas you're going to have healthful peers. If you've gotten healthful peers you're going to have healthful ideas. One follows the yet another. If any individual says phrases of heat then my middle (my emotional brain) feels well, however my brain says anything someplace is fallacious when you consider that nobody can say phrases of heat to persons like me. Its now not my crisis however I do not show my man or woman, so theres rarely any individual who comes to understand a lot approximately me. And folks who realize will decide upon silence or a small smile to make me suppose well. :)

non vegetarians, most veggies dont have enough protein. Meat has protein, and if they don't eat it, the less they have.

Depends on the person, a veggie does not eat just vegatables alone!
MY sister and my dad are both veggie and she (bless her heart) struggles with her weight but im proud of her coz she has just got to her desired weight (size 12 uk) and my dad is a walking rake and eat LOADS. its all chocolate mind. ha ha. i guess it depends on the person there are fat and thin veggies and meat eaters.
