Agree or disagree?
Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?
Haven't you read, he replied, that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female',
and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?
So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.
Why then, they asked, did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?
Jesus replied, Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. (Matthew 19)

I posted this quote, but I had a different question.

I think I made a mistake.

Anyway, it's a good question.

Sorry I think here "you" means "pharisess".

Because he made them "male and female"

not a
"male and females".

I didn't ask you if Jesus was our lawman.

Shouldn't Mohammed's teachings have agreed with those of Jesus?

Do we have that True Gospel which Jesus Christ (pbuh) Preached in Hebrew or Aramaic?
Did Jesus (pbuh) asked Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to write these Gospels?
How can Christians rely on the accounts in these Gospels which are the basic Pillars of their Faith?

Grounds For Polygamy*

[4:3] If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - you may marry two, three, or four. If you fear lest you become unfair, then you shall be content with only one, or with what you already have. Additionally, you are thus more likely to avoid financial hardship.

[4:4] You shall give the women their due dowries, equitably. If they willingly forfeit anything, then you may accept it; it is rightfully yours.

Jesus said "Your" in plural terms and thus "wives". The apostle Paul says that each man should have his own wife and that each woman should have her own husband. Anyway, forget about what they all said. What God said at the begining still stands!!!

The witness to Jesus has been given us is so that we can believe in him, not that he is our lawman, besides the quote you have shared says nothing about having more than one wife, thus is a non-argument.
