Like I am over his house alot and we have been together for 3 years and recently ill say hi to her and she wont say anything ..I gave her a hug and she patted my arm ? And she lied to me about my bf working out so I could serve myself dinner and I saw him in the room just sitting down watching tv. I try hard to cope with her but it is really hard when your nice to someone who just doesnt get that .. I am searching for reasonable advice. And one more thing when Ive talked to her she acted like she didnt hear me when we were sitting on the same couch! and she has started talking to someone else in the middle of our conversation! Help!

I talked to him about it and he says that thats the way she is to him and the rest of his siblings but do you think that treatment is fair to me?

i would say, your bf's mum is a little worried that you might take her son away from her. Instead of spending more time with your bf, u need to spend time with her to build a trust in you!
or she might think that your not suatable for him... well mothers are always over protecting their kids u c.... this can b a reason too....
what ever you try to do, i would say spend time with her by helping her with(ex. house work........n more) ofcourse she'll say i don't need your help but keep trying.....
when there's a right moment talk to her, explain how you care for your bf and her....
im sure she'll be convinced.......!

this may well be a extensive crimson-flag. not plenty because of the fact your bf's mom would not such as you yet because of the fact your bf won't call for respectful scientific care from his mom. you're able to desire to sit down down with the bf and tell him the way you're feeling approximately this. with any luck, he will strengthen a backbone and stick as much as his mom. interior the time being, pull removed from his mom. you're able to desire to by no skill reward rude habit and whenever you purchase her a modern it is exactly what you're doing. as far as not having any kinfolk left...are you specific? you have greater distant kinfolk some place. (I observe which you probably did not say something approximately your dad? Do you to have a dating? might or not that's secure to seek for him out?) and close pals are like kinfolk. branch out greater socially.

This only happen recently in your 3 years relationship correct?
Why dont you be upfront with her, maybe she heard something about you that she is not please about.
I am sure your BF also notice the cold treatment, maybe he knows something you dont, so ask him as well. No matter what, just keep on being yourself though....be nice and sweet like you always do.
Good luck

She probably wants to protect her son and for whatever reason, she isn't giving you a fair chance to prove you are a great girl. If your boyfriend cares about you he will make sure his mother knows you are important to him. I had a boyfriend whose mother constantly called me by his ex girlfriend's name. He never did anything about it so I knew our relationship didn't matter to him that much.

Say to her in a serious and hurt voice, "Is there something about my manner that's causing you to be rude to me?"
Hopefully this will make her see what she's doing and stop it.

she's just overprotective to her son...try watching the movie monster in law( kidding) try to tell her exactly how you feel...in private if your shy...and spend most of your time with her and try to tell your BF about it

"kill" her with kindness. hopefully she will snap out of it. maybe get her flowers?
also ask your bf why she acts that way maybe he can figure it out and then help you get her to like you again

ignore her, you don't want to piss her off. Just be super nice to her, maybe she'll realize she's being rude.
