I would think so how did you peel it off? Moles have to be removed and sent to a lab for testing the mole really goes deep so if you peeled yours out I doubt it was a mole!

There are such things called skin tags. If that is what you had, it would be kind of flaky as you scraped it off. If it wasn't that, get your hind end to a doctor and have him/her take a look and give you an opinion of what it really is. Did you know that a mole on a man is most dangerous on the neck and back and with a woman the most dangerous ones seem to be on the leg? That's not to say you shouldn't have all checked out but be especially careful with those locations.

You should not have done that! Usually people get it remove by a dermatologist or an acid is putted on everyday until its falls, but only after a dermatological examination.
If you have shown your mole to a doctor before and wasn't requested any laboratory's examination, I think it's not the bad one but it doesn't mean you can not make it bad by doing what you did.

Hmmm, though an unusual question, no pursuit for knowledge is too small.
Now, yes it is possible to remove moles medically, but from your description, it doesn't seem likely that it was a mole. I do not doubt you though. I would suggest you see your physician to be checked for possible traces of skin cancer just to be safe; my reasoning is that your "Infection" could be linked to what some moles can cause, called malignant melanoma. But this is rare, so do not alarm yourself, simply check with your doctor, tell him/her what happened and see what he'she thinks.
I hope this helps you out.

Yup, if you got to peel yours I doubt it was a mole. Anyway, if it's a mole, DON'T PEEL IT! Infections and all, the more harmful ones, will come your way. Just go see your dermatologist.

How big was your mole?
Did it hurt?
Maybe it was some piece of really hard to remove dirt. :/
Anyway, check with your doctor to be safe.

it maybe just the outter skin, not the entire mole. you should see your doctor to remove it completely. beware of infection.
