Because whatever God does is Good, by definition, right? So if God wipes out, say, all the children under 12 in the state of North Carolina, that would be a Good thing, right? Because God can do whatever He wants, He is the Creator.
And don't bother saying that God would never do that. Why not? If God isn't held to the same standards as mere mortals, and anything God does is automatically Good, then there is absolutely no reason why he wouldn't.

God killed all the firstborn sons of Egypt, according to Exodus. Which of those children were guilty of some horrible sin, for which they deserved death? So don't say God doesn't kill indescriminately, if and when he feels like it.

It's all part of God's plan. Which he keeps in MS Project.
Hence the problems.

I wonder how many of my fellow "Answerers" are as blown away by this "question" or better yet, this "tissie fit" as I am. Where does someone begin to try to reason with that kind of... uh, logic. (That was rhetorical) Wow! Okay, first; I have to ask (again, rhetorically) What planet did you say you were from? Second; it's one thing to debate and theorize about religion and spirituality, keeping in mind that there are always going to be "highly opinionated" people with very firm beliefs, however, you, my friend, should start by taking a couple Xanax, or lithium and try to relax. Please, try to relax. Whatever issues you have are not with God. Personally, I'm not a religious man and I question alot of things, including the existance of God. But, I've gotta tell ya, there are certain "places you just don't go" - and, what you're talking about... Don't go there. It's not funny. It's not intellectual. It doesn't inspire thought provoking conversations. You have crossed the line with this one. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish. Maybe you just need to blow off some steam. But, come on, brother man, there are better ways to do it than that. Whatever your beliefs or views are, and like I said, I'm not a religious man... Show some respect for those who are. I'm not even going to mention the comment about the children. Well, maybe I will at that... Shame on you.

While God is not bound by the laws he makes for his creatures, he does have a strict and perfect code of justice.
When Adam sinned, he voluntarily aligned himself with the forces of evil and against God, and he knowingly incurred the penalty of death, both for himself, and for all his offspring.
From that moment, until the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, there wasn't a soul who was born who was not born already separated from their creator, pledged to Satan, the enemy of God, and liable to die.
And since all mankind was inadverdently trapped in forced slavery to Satan, nothing man could do on his own could ever change things, or ever please God.
All that remained was wrath ... God's righteous anger (and just punishment) for mankind's (and Satan's) continuous offenses aginst him.
Still, in his mercy, God chose to send his son to redeem us, and once accomplished, mankind was once again free to reject Satan, choose God, and avoid the eternal consequences of Adam's sin.
God is good ... not because he has the POWER to define the term ... but because he IS the definition of the term.

I don't think for a second that God likes to kill people.
A lot of the travesties of today's world are because of original sin.
Remember He said, "If you eat this, you will surely die".
And we have been every since.
Most of these travesties He allows to happen. Because God is a gentleman and even if we screw up our lives and our afterlives, He's not gonna step in and strip us of our free will.
He gives consequences just like any good parent would for a child who disobeys.
Seriously, you're the one who needs to be right in God's eyes, not the other way around.

The be conscious is homicide. to be sure that us to devour something, some thing has to die for us to get food from it. once you're a cop and respond to a hostage subject you're legally allowed to kill the suspect whether that's mandatory. whether in case you shoot the sufferer you have purely dedicated homicide. they are the two human beings. that's a criminal rely.

Too many who answer seem to think their thoughts are God's thoughts or they think they speak for God, even when they interpret the Bible their way or pick out what suits them. No one knows god better than I do and I know nothing of him.

In reality...the commandment reads 'thou shalt not murder' when reading through scripture. Murder is permeditated and the killing of another aforethought. War is killing, but God made provision for that as well.
For those whom God wishes to destroy, He first makes mad... as in 'crazy, or insane.' When children are wiped out by disaster, they are innocent victims. God would never intentionally destroy a child. "Suffer little children, and come unto me..." and for those who hurt a child will themselves be destroyed by God.

If you are asking this of Christians, when a child dies they live with God. That is not death to Christians but eternal life.

God created humans last. It was because He made sure that EVERYTHING that we would need to survive will be available for us. How can you then say that he kills!?
God is GOOD, all the time!

Are you off your nut? Or is it that you are a listener and not a studier! God can not break His Own Commandments, because they are THE Testimony of His Character, and God can not change! So, please, stop listening to the devil, God is not the one that is killing innocent men, women, and children! SATAN IS, and he is trying to place the blame for what he does and causes, upon God.
