No, it isn't normal at all. It IS normal that she be bleeding a bit for the first couple of weeks.(just as human moms do) .But, all moms need a check up, to make sure they passed all the whelping yucky stuff, so they don't get infections.

She should not be in heat she will have a discharge for about a week after having the pups if it lasts longer than that she could have a big problem! if she is laying around and not taking interest in eating drinking or her pups take her to the vet right away she could have some internal bleeding or even another pup stuck. She wont go in to heat for another 6 mo.6 mo from the day she had the pups is when she will be ready to do it allover again.

Yes bleeding is normal to a certain extent. But, if it is excessive this could be a sign that the placenta did not completely deliver out of the uterus. Did you see your dog give birth? Did you see a dark redish blob looking thing come out? The dog usually eats it. (this is normal) If you did not see it or you just don't know I would at least call your vet to make sure if the bleeding seems like it's a lot.

No it is not normal and your dog wasn't in heat . there is usually a
clear discharge before birth and a mucas bloody discharge several days after. It is a good idea though that you take her to the vet and get a clean out shot to avoid infections.I would take the puppies for a check also . Check their pallets, duw claw removal and general health of each puppy, duw claw removal should be done within 5 days after birth. LOOK FOR ANOTHER HEAT CYCLE WITHIN THE NEXT 6 Months.

What you are seeing probably is not a heat cycle, but rather the normal discharge following whelping (birth) of puppies. A visit to the vet is in order to have your dog checked out once the puppies are born to ensure that she did not retain a placenta or puppy. Failure to do so could have serious consequences.

Never hurts to take a dog to a vet after she has puppies and no she can't come into heat just having puppies. Your best best is to take her. Why makes you think she is in heat?

Your dog is not in heat. Why do you think she is, because she is swollen and bleeding? Well she just gave birth. That is normal after whelping. Nothing to worry about.

Yeah, she can get pregnant again right after she has puppies, just like humans can.I don't think nothing is wrong with her she just don't realize what a pain in the crotch it is to have one momnet of pleasure as opposed to 9 weeks of hell.
