What happens when a woman converts to of Islam just so can abandons her children?

I know of the this person who is using the faith of Islam to get out of her duties to her children. knowing full well the ex will not let her have then because of the faith. I know she isn't taking the convention seriously She has broken several of those laws and Has asked me to brake some for her. My question really is what is the stand of those in that faith on someone who would make a mockery of it just so she can be free of her children.

The reason fo rhte edit. Some asked why. She she could be a marter and not ther bad guy in this. Laying it at the ex's feet. And yes she been planing this out for several months.

I don't think you will hear her side of it but she dose know of this question. Just consider this kind of person would hide and not stand in the light of truth. As far as my question. I'm not putting any blame on the faith I just want to know what you (those of the faith) think and what would be done if found out? I just seek enlightenment .

Well first of Allah knows what is in her heart. If she is converting simply for the reasons you said, that does not make her a Muslim just to say her shahada for alternative reasons. If Islam is not in her heart then yes she is just making a mockery of the religion but most of all herself. She will have to justify her actions one day and her reasons if true are certainly not valid. I reverted to Islam 2 years ago and would never abandon my child, why? for what? To be mother is a very important aspect in Islam. Mothers are held with a very high regard. To want to be a Muslim simply because it means her ex wont let her have her children is between her and God she will have to justify her actions and Allah is all seeing all knowing, so she will be able to hide nothing.

The woman is accepted in the Islamic ummah (community) as we cant pre-judge her about anything. In the eye's of Allah if she does convert declaring their faith with the tongue aswell as the heart and not for abandoning her children then she is Muslim.

However you said she hasnt converted to Islam because of faith but to benifit. No in the eyes of Allah she is not Muslim. If she does speak to a Muslim about this issue then its the dutie of the Muslim to get the right resources to educate her of what she is doing wrong and what she should do.

Any mother that will abandon her children for any reason, needs to be taken out and hurt. And to hide behind a faith as ones reason, to walk out, it not only sad but cowardly. The Children are better off without a mother like that.

If she's not a true Islam follower, as you say, then she is not really a Muslim and not accepted by Islam nor Muslims. Assuming that your judgment is correct and that she is really doing so to be away from her children, she will get her punishment when she wakes up one day with no one around her, not her children and family nor Muslims because she's a hypocrite.

I don't think this has anything to do with Islam. If she did indeed convert to Islam just so her ex-husband wouldn't let her have her children as you say (which I find hard to believe) then she must have had it all planned out. No one can do anything about this.

A bad Mom is a bad Mom no matter her faith. I guess it's better than her keeping the kids and not raising them right or worse. They deserve a Mom who will care for them. Don't trouble yourself.

Well that would be just plain stupid. If she marries a Muslim man she will be barefoot and pregnant the rest of her life almost. Then she will really know what hell is if she doesn't want the children she already has.

Shame on that woman to want to use religion to abandon her children! What kind of mother would do that? All she has to do is to give her husband full custody. There is no need to convert to a religion just for that reason.
