By identifying yourself correctly.

You are not this body and that is why the problems related to this body like lack of confidence are also actually not your problem. You are a spirit soul and deserve to be ever blissful as that is the very nature of the soul.

Keep yourself around positive people and those that provide positive in you. I heard from a friend that negative comments not only effect children, but adults as well. By knowing this I hope it helps you to realize that self confidence is something that nobody can take away from you - this is yours and you control it. Good Luck from someone that's been there and not any more!!!

Okay you need to believe that you're an important person, there are lots of ways to do this even if you have to look in the mirror when you wake-up and tell yourself "I am beautiful, handsome, kind and important."

You just have to find you're way, In my opinion I was really lacking confidence until I realised people don't look or think of you're bad qualities, nobody cares, they are prob thinking like you lol. You just be yourself and don't worry bout anyone else.

100 times in the morning say this "I AM CONFIDENT"

It matters not that you believe it. Just do it. Repeat when possible throughout the day. During the course of the day it is not necessary to state this declaration 100 times, just make the statement when it is comfortable for you, 1 time, 2times, 10 times, ...

In the very near future, you will experience things differently.

One way is to understand that almost EVERYONE lacks confidence at one level or another. Anyone that does not is probably insufferably arrogant and not worth knowing.

You have to convince yourself that people want to talk to you. You do this by making conversation. The trick to that is to learn how to ask people questions about themselves, and look interested about the replies. People who are interested are interesting.

By the way, if you manage to pull this one off could you let me know how you did it?

My experience:
When I was a kid, my lack of confidence came from what would think other people about me. So when I felt bad, my skin turned to red, and because of that I was unable to speak. So I tried not to turn red: this was a wrong solution because it is impossible to do. So tried to focus about what a wanted to say or to do. If somebody tried to destabilize me with my red skin, I replayed by an other attack turned on him and not bad thought turned on me. With this technique, after a while when I turned to red I didn't care, and most of the time people didn't say anything about my red skin. Time passing, I don't have to attack people who attack me, because I think they don't worth it... because now I'm confident, does my skin still turn to red?

You don't need loads of self confidence to lead or gain support from people. You just need to be good at just one thing in life. Go find that one thing that you are good at now!

try to focus on things that you know you are good. at least once a day do something that satisfies you inside. if things are very difficult then try to talk to a doctor who can help you. confidence usuallly builds up as we grow older and we achieve things in life...so keep walking!

Have you considered taking up public speaking? Visit a local toastmaster club in your town. Everyone owes it to themselves to visit at least one meeting (and they're always free)
