It means that it has more problems than it should. Maybe the workers were in a bad mood the day the car went through the assembly line, consequently, parts may not have been put in properly or as well as they should have. As a result, the car will break-down more often. It is a lemon...causing very souring experiences.

It means that the vehicle was purchased by the manufacture from the original purchaser. Something was wrong with the vehicle that could not be fixed at the time. Lemon Laws only apply to new vehicles. Ultimately, a vehicle that was purchased by the manufacture can be fixed and theoretically be OK. But once it has been purchased through the lemon law buyback it drastically diminishes the value of the vehicle.

"lemon laws" vary by state, but it means that it was repaired (or attempted to be repaired) numerous times and still not as reliable or performed as well as designed. the whole car may not be a lemon, but one system is declared that way (l.e. - air conditioner, or engine or transmission, etc.)
