I drive the same year and model and as far as it's "green" rating, it's better than average. I get 31mpg city and 34 Hwy. The lack of spending money of repairs helps save resources. But it is 10 year old technology.

Well it depends on the color. If the car is white blue black then its not green at all if it's a forest green it's green but has different shades of other colors to darken it up. So it you were to buy a white one and paint it Lime Green it would be pretty darn green. If you are talking about Tree-Hugging Hippie "Green" then yeah it's a failry efficient car that doesn't pollute to much. If Green is what you're after Pocket lotsa Green and buy a scooter and a heavy jacket.

It's a small, four cylinder sedan with a manual transmission, so fuel mileage is listed at 24 city/ 31 highway MPG. Pollution-wise, it will not be nearly as friendly as a newer car. It's not as green as a Toyota Prius, but it's not a Hummer H2 either.
Of course, this is all dependent on your driving style, where you live and the mechanical condition of the car.

I in simple terms appeared it up, and the motor mounts are an analogous. fairly, it incredibly is in simple terms the Cabrio that has a distinctive front mount. I doubt there could be many different changes mandatory, as VW has a tendency to standardize, and if an analogous factors could be utilized, they do. I doubt the radiator replaced into distinctive even.

I'd feel pretty good about driving it. You can smile with self-satisfaction as you drive past the people paying close to $100.00 to fill up their giant SUVs and pickups that never haul anything or drive off the pavement.
