My man is currently in jail for some stupid things and they put him on Prozac, Depakote, and Thorazine. I heard that Thorazine is like a chemical lobotomy. Does anyone know how these drugs interact with one another? He was diagnosed with bi polar disorder and/or anti social personality disorder.

If he has bi-polar disorder then he will need help to keep things even. The best thing to do is find out as much as you can from reputable sources and just keep an eye on him. The same medication doesn't work the same for everyone and they will have to monitor the drug and the dose. Its a worry that these drugs have been administered in prison as there may be other reasons why prisoners are given tranquillisers, not necessarily in the patient's best interests.
Question everything, if it is possible to accompany him to psychiatric appointments then do so and I hope it all goes well.

"Does anyone know how these drugs interact with one another?"

Well I don't, but it's the job of the psychiatrist that prescribed all that to know it. Your man should be fine. Medical errors might happen, but if all those were prescribed at the same time, it is very unlikely that the doctor watching him did not think about the medications interacting.

"I heard that Thorazine is like a chemical lobotomy."

I seriously doubt this.

Yes, thorazine is like a zombie chemical. It's not good to be on that stuff.

Not sure how they interact with each other but you can go on line and get a lot of info on various drug and medical sites.

Once you are on this kind of medications. You must go to a Doctor to Dial it in to that person. Only time and experimention will tell. Your man must follow a routine for the rest of his life. Let his Doctor know everything. In jail I guess he will have to see the nurse and they will call his doctor and they will give recommendations. In the mean time the Cops will watch him and he has to let them know how he fells. Jail is a good place for him to get in a routine. Then when he gets out he needs to keep it up.

He will be okay with everything but the Thorazine. It will cause sleepiness, etc.

They won't do anything that will affect your guy completely, they know what they are doing.
